CeCe Vance became a 2nd time Mommy again at age 52; when she found herself raising an infant grandson due to both of his parents' drug addictions. Her grandson was only 6-weeks old when he came to live with her. CeCe understands firsthand the joys and challenges of raising a grandchild, and after 2 1/2 years of talking about it with her husband, he encouraged her to follow her heart and share her story with other grandparents in similar situations, so they know they are not alone and also to let them know there is help available.

Our mission is twofold: to provide essential resources for the immediate needs of grandchildren, ensuring their well-being and stability, and to advocate for better legislation that recognizes and addresses the unique challenges faced by these families. By delivering tangible support and driving systemic change, we strive to create a nurturing environment where grandparents and grandchildren can thrive, leading to healthier and brighter futures for all."
Founded in 2017, due to the growing crisis of children being displaced by their absentee parent(s) that are battling opioid addiction, mental health, incarceration, illness, or death. Grandparents have stepped in to provide love, support, and security to their Grandchildren.
Children being raised by their Grandparents experience greater stability than those in traditional foster care. However, many Grandparents Raising Grandchildren do not receive the support or resources that they need to survive. Across the United States, more than 2.9 million Grandchildren are living in homes with their Grandparents.
